MAPS | 2004

"I ask myself what it really implies to have a professional alliance with other people. Deals, decisions on collaborations, co-productions and other relations are quickly signed these days in order to proceed more efficiently. But who are the people behind these few organizers that shake hands and who provide a network, serving other people. Maybe a map with real names could give an informing and pleasant overview of 'us' in the past couple of years."

MAPS is a cartography by Heike Langsdorf dating from September 2004. Made on the occasion of the writing of a collective dossier for the Flemish Commission by Kunst/Werk, Sarma and f,r,o,g,s OS, the maps show all collaborative links within and between these three organizations, during the period of 2000 until 2004.
