The Styrene Fantastic | 2009
The Styrene Fantastic is a physical exploration of the mountains of Styrofoam that are both a by-product and a symptom of consumer culture. Two performers wear clothing constructed with large styrofoam-filled blobs. They collaborate with their costumes adapting their activities and postures to them in an attempt to make the best of a ubiquitous material with little use and an endless future.
